Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last Updated: 09/11/2025

1. Overview

Green Glove LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”) is committed to customer satisfaction and follows fair business practices under Georgia law. This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains your rights and how we handle refunds and cancellations for our cleaning services in Georgia.

2. Cancellation by the Customer

  • Advance notice: You may cancel or reschedule a service without penalty if you provide at least 24 hours notice prior to the scheduled service time.
  • Late cancellations: If cancellation occurs within 24 hours of the scheduled service, a cancellation fee may apply (e.g. up to 50% of the job cost or a flat fee).
  • Day-of cancellation / no-show: If you cancel the same day or are a no‑show, you may be responsible for 100% of the quoted service fee.

3. Service Issues & Refunds

  • Notification period: If you believe the service was not performed as agreed or job was incomplete, you must notify us within 24 hours after the service has been completed.
  • Re‑clean attempt: We will attempt to repair or re‑clean the affected area at no additional cost. This is your first remedy.
  • Refund eligibility: If after a re‑clean, the issue remains unresolved, you may be eligible for a partial or full refund. Refunds will be made to the original payment method.
  • Non‑eligibility: Refunds will not be granted if:
    • You report the issue after 24 hours.
    • The area in question was not part of the service agreement.
    • The service was prevented by your actions (e.g., inaccessible area, pets not secured, etc.).

4. Service Provider Cancellations

  • If Green Glove LLC must cancel a service (weather issues, safety concerns, staff availability), we will notify you as soon as possible and offer to reschedule without penalty.
  • If rescheduling is not acceptable, you may request a full refund.

5. Payment & Refund Processing

  • Refunds will be processed within 5–7 business days once approved.
  • Fees or non-refundable deposits may be deducted as agreed in initial service terms.

6. Georgia Consumer Law Notes

  • Georgia’s consumer protection laws require clear disclosure of refund, cancellation, and re‑service policies.
  • Under Georgia law, some contracts have a “cooling‑off” period or rights to cancel under certain conditions (e.g., for home solicitation contracts). However, most cleaning service agreements performed at your location and by appointment are not automatically subject to the three‑day cooling‑off period unless they meet specific statutory criteria. (See GA Code § 10‑1‑393.2) (FindLaw Code Library)
  • This policy is intended to comply with Georgia law. If any part of this policy conflicts with mandatory state or federal law, those laws will take precedence.
